The Ñuble Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this Tuesday afternoon that resolved to initiate an ex officio investigation for the crime of abuse for the case of a minor who was detained and violently thrown to the ground by a police officer -unlinked- in the Plaza de Armas de Chillán.

The situation was revealed after a video viralized by social networks and it affected a 15-year-old adolescent.

Given the above, Chillán’s chief prosecutor, Sergio Pérez Nova, resolved initiate an ex officio investigation for the crime of abuse against individuals.

Police action that was repudiated by the INDH, where its representative in the Ñuble region, Daniel Concha, assured that “this procedure of Carabinieri it was totally out of protocols and respect for human rights ”.

With the background of the case, the Prefecture of Carabineros Ñuble confirmed that it ordered the administrative acts for the “Immediate disengagement” of the cash that violently threw the minor.
