Of course, the panic of the recipient of the message prompts him to click on the link, while the blackmailer does not have any pictures or information about the addressee, and when he clicks on the link, the blackmailer disappears for half an hour, or less, as he works to penetrate the phone with a virus, to obtain pictures And his owner’s information, and he sends it back to him, to confirm what he said, and then begins to blackmail him, taking advantage of the state of anxiety and tension that caused him, for fear of publishing his private pictures, or information about him, and so on.

Opening unknown links is a trap that many fall into, as a result of the threat of blackmailers who play on the feelings of account holders on social media, by hinting that they possess their secrets and secrets from their personal lives, which they can publish to the public to expose them if they do not comply with their subsequent demands.

The UAE legislator took it upon himself to set deterrent penalties to limit these actions and to confront anyone who begged himself to use cyberspace for threats and extortion.
