CThis week aims to raise awareness among parents and the various actors on the importance of vaccination as a public health intervention with the best cost-effectiveness ratio and to recall that vaccines are essential to protect future generations against diseases. fatal and disabling, infectious and cancerous.

On this occasion, it should be remembered that compliance with the national vaccination schedule allows optimal protection of the health of future generations, through the strengthening of the immune system with safe and effective vaccines.

Thanks to the great solicitude of King Mohammed VI and the effective involvement of Princess Lalla Meryem, Morocco is one of the pioneering countries that have committed themselves to ensuring children’s right to health by allowing them continuous access to safe, effective and free vaccines according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the National Technical and Scientific Advisory Committee on Vaccination.

In addition, great progress has been made in Morocco in terms of vaccination against target diseases previously responsible for high morbidity and mortality in children. Thus, the efforts deployed within the framework of the National Immunization Program have made it possible to achieve considerable rates of national vaccination coverage against the targeted diseases.
