“I’m happy. We won 0-5 in Albania in circumstances that weren’t always easy,” said Ives Serneels after the Red Flames’ victory against Albania (0-5).
A meeting that took 30 minutes to really start for the Belgians “but after our first goal, everything went much better”.
“It was a question of patience. I’m proud that the team didn’t try to force things. After the first goal, we grabbed Albania by the throat”, comments Serneels who is also satisfied with the rise of replacements.
By consolidating their second place in the group with this victory, the Flames can approach the duel in Kosovo in the best possible way and continue to put pressure on Norway, currently at the top of the group with a three-point lead.
