The Ministry of Health and Population advised mothers and pregnant women to visit the nearest health unit affiliated with the President of the Republic’s initiative to support maternal and fetal health.
The Ministry of Health indicated that the initiative monitors the mother’s health throughout the pregnancy and for a period of 42 days after delivery.
The initiative offers free examination, follow-up and treatment, pointing out that the official working hours are: daily from 8 am to 2 pm.
And on how to register in the initiative, the Ministry of Health confirmed that pregnant women must go to the nearest health unit to register in the initiative and hand them a card containing the result of some tests that will be conducted, such as hepatitis, diabetes and HIV.
After the examination, the results are recorded. These tests are on the initiative page, as well as on the card that will be given to the expectant mother.
