Al-Marsad newspaper: The Personal Status Court in Medina ruled to prove the lineage of a Saudi girl to her father.

The court obliged the girl’s father to complete the issuance of a birth certificate for her, include it in the civil registry, complete her legal documents, and obtain a national ID. According to Okaz.

A female citizen had filed a lawsuit before the court, in which she stated that she had given birth to her ex-husband 3 male children and a girl, and her ex-husband recognized his male children, obtained their identity papers for them, and refused to recognize his daughter for 19 years.

Marriage contract

The mother presented her official marriage contract and divorce certificate, and presented witnesses to her ex-husband’s stubbornness and refusal to acknowledge his daughter.

After the father failed to attend the sessions, the court issued an order to bring him by force.

Final ruling

The court concluded that the girl’s lineage to her father was proven, and a deed was issued to that effect, and the ruling became final.

The sources said, according to the newspaper, that the regular procedures had been completed, she was issued a national ID card, she was given the identity card, and her file was closed.
