PS Plus: games of the month of December

2023-11-29 23:13:06

The year is coming to an end. After weeks where big releases followed one another on PC and consoles, it is now Sony’s turn to reveal the list of titles offered to PS Plus subscribers. The last vintage of 2023.

Lego 2K Drive (PS4 & PS5)

A car game halfway between Forza Horizon and Mario Kart with a design made of plastic bricks, does that appeal to you? This is the bold challenge that 2K and Visual Concepts tried to take on with Lego 2K Drive. If the pitch was scary before the release, it is clear that the title has serious advantages to put forward. Extremely fun, Lego Drive remains ultra faithful to the Lego universe, and has a really nice artistic direction. It’s a shame, however, that, as in all 2K-branded productions, we find ourselves with microtransactions and the obligation to create a 2K account to be able to play.

Powerwash Simulator (PS4 & PS5)

No, it’s not a joke. In the December offer, Sony is offering a “Job Simulator”. In Powerwash Simulator, we put a karcher in your hands and you have to clean vehicles, buildings… Very clearly, the concept is nothing to dream of on paper. And yet, Powerwash Simulator is a real surprise. Terribly addictive and satisfying, the game is sure to divide. Either you will embrace the concept and spend several hours there, or you will quickly uninstall it after the first ten minutes.

Sand (PS5)

Journey, Flower or even Sable, there are countless contemplative and poetic games whose simple aim is to make us think about a social subject or, more simply, to disconnect us from our daily lives for a few minutes. With Sable, we find ourselves with an exploration game on a planet covered entirely in sand, in the shoes of a young girl moving around using a hovercraft. Very clearly, it is for its universe and its artistic direction that Sable can stand out the most. In our test published two years ago, it was criticized in particular for a lack of interest in the design of secondary quests as well as a relatively poor open world. Never mind, for anyone who wants to experience a hassle-free adventure, Sable should do the job.

It is only from Wednesday December 5 that the three games previously presented will be available on the PS Store. They will be available until January 1, 2024. As for the titles for the month of November, you have until November 4 to download them.
