PS5 outsells PS4; Resident Evil 4 and Hogwarts Legacy are the most downloaded games in 2023

PS5 sales have finally surpassed PS4. The information was revealed by Circana, a company that evaluates economic data in North America and released its report on the first quarter of 2023 this week.

According to her, hardware sales grew by 10% in March 2023 compared to 2022 and the main reason is the Sony console, which has already sold more consoles than the PS4 in the first 29 months after its launch.

On the other hand, the sale of software and games fell 7% in the last month, which dragged the percentage of total sales including hardware, games and additional content to -5% compared to the same period last year. Total player spending was $4.6 billion in North America.
