After removal of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) of the Champions League, the fans of the French club are still upset. So much so that this Sunday, when the team played at the Parc des Princes against Bordeaux, a game in which the Parisians won 3-0, the fans they hissed and booed to two of its greatest stars: Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Every time the South American stars touched the ball, they received the disapproval of the local public. Only French Kylian Mbappeauthor of the first goal of the match, was saved from the anger and feu cheered on by the fans.
Not even when he scored the second goal of the game, seven minutes into the second half, Neymar was not saved from boos, so the Brazilian did not celebrate. PSG’s 3-0 victory over Bordeaux was completed by Leandro Paredes’ goal.
The discomfort of the local fans was strongly felt when the stadium announcer Michael Montana named the members of the formation. And went when he named Messi and Neymar when the whistles were felt more strongly. The disapproval was also evident with the DT Mauricio Pochettino, with the captain Marquinhos, the Portuguese Danilo and the Dutch Georginio Wajnaldum.
Mbappé was the exception, since when he was named he was cheered and applauded. In one of the stands, a flag was hung with the same message as the statement issued this Saturday by the Colectivo Ultras París (CUP): “Resignation management”, addressed to the president of the club, the Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and to the head sportsman, the Brazilian Leonardo.
