The president of PSG Nasser Al-Khelaïfi will be tried on appeal this week in Switzerland. The Parisian leader, who is also president of BeIN Media Groupis accused “of instigation to aggravated unfair management”. He is suspected of having offered “undue advantages” to FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke with a view to obtaining television rights for the 2026 and 2030 World Cups.
The FIFA leader had been acquitted like the president of PSG during his appearance at first instance in 2020.
