Public holidays declared in Oman

Royal decree of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed announcing public holidays in Oman. Sultan Haitham bin Tariq has declared January 11 as an official public holiday in Oman.

Public holidays are 1st of Muharram, 12th of Rabi’ul Awwal, Isra’ Mi’raj, National Day of Oman, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.

If a public holiday falls on a weekend holiday, one day off will be given instead. Even if two holidays fall on a Friday, the other day will be treated as a holiday.
