“The Draft Housing Law requires housing construction investment projects being implemented in the area to be publicized on the provincial-level portal, but “under implementation” is unknown. Mr. Huynh Thanh Khiet, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction spoke at the workshop.
According to Mr. Khiet, the bill that requires publicity of projects is being implemented, but the Department recommends that only public housing projects have already been decided on investment policies, other types are not required. “This avoids cases of fraud and confusion because the project is “under construction” with unknown content and content”, Mr. Khiet analyzed.

Over time, the Ministry of Construction has developed two draft amendments to these two important laws.
“The conference organized will raise social criticisms of these two laws for the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments before submitting to the National Assembly. The workshop is of great significance to prepare arguments to serve as a basis for social criticism to contribute to the process of developing two bills,” affirmed Ms. Anh.
