A police officer, in self-defense, shot two armed criminals who tried to assault him when he was walking a few meters from his home, in the district of Stone bridge. The criminals lost their lives.

It happened on the afternoon of this Friday, April 15, after the agent – whose name was not revealed – was intercepted by two racketeers on a motorcycle when he was walking in civilian clothes in the Zapallal area, reported Canal N.
One of the criminals pointed a firearm at the agent to apparently assault him, however, both did not realize that the cash was also armed.
In a legitimate act of defense, the police officer shot his assailants and one of them died instantly. Also, the second perished on the way to a hospital.
The identities of the deceased were not disclosed. Meanwhile, it was not reported that the victim was injured or suffered any injury as a result of the confrontation.
Police from the Zapallal police station cordoned off the area for the investigations of the experts and the Public Ministry. The motorcycle in which the thugs were traveling was lying on the ground.
