Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that we want to halve the number of women in the police department.
Addressing the passing out parade in Lahore, he said that earlier when I used to go to meetings, I used to see that women police officers were carrying heavy weapons and were working in positions held by men, let me see them. I used to be happy, I told Inspector General Punjab that the number of 7,000 is too low, it should be increased, women are superhumans, we women are also mothers, daughters too, as diligently as we perform our responsibilities. Can’t even imagine how hard it takes.
She said that I salute all of you, I am happy that the first Sword of Honor was given to a woman police officer, I am proud of you all, since I took oath as Chief Minister, I have attended this event. Was waiting.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that when I have to make a decision against someone, I do it with a stone on my heart, but in a society where there is no justice, it deteriorates. I congratulate everyone, these daughters will not let their parents bow down.
