1. Do you want to play on PC?
- Which games exactly? Dota2, AC: Origins/Oddyssey, GoW, Apex Legends, Ark Survival
- Which resolution? tend towards Full HD with higher FPS
- Should be a bit higher, I’m currently playing on 60-75 (Free Sync) and notice the difference between the two clearly.
2. Would you like to use the PC for image/music/video editing or CAD? As a hobby or are you a professional? What software will you use?
Streaming and/or video recording and some editing. More like a hobby.
3. Do you have special requirements or wishes (overclocking, a particularly quiet PC, RGB lighting, …)?
If at some point later the performance is no longer sufficient, I’d be happy to OC a little.
4. How many and which monitors do you want to use? Number, model, resolution, refresh rate (Hertz)? Is FreeSync (AMD) or G-Sync (Nvidia) supported? (Please with a link to the manufacturer or price comparison!)
Two, the main display with 144hz and the one next to it will be my current main screen, I’m still undecided on the resolution of the new main display, tending towards 1080p because that allows me to increase my settings even in particularly high-performance games.
5. Do you still have an old PC, parts of which could be reused? (Please with links to the specifications from the manufacturer or price comparison!)
- HDD / SSD: 500GB Samsung SSD870 Evo (will then be backup storage)
- 1-2 120mm fans
6. How much money are you willing to spend?

8. Do you want the PC
- Assemble it yourself (I have already built 1-2x myself or fiddled around with Lans on other computers if there were problems, my cable management is definitely not to be rated as a professional but hopefully this can be concealed with diligence ^^)
As you can see here I am looking for advice on building a new gaming PC, at the moment I am still on the way with the following:
i5 8600k / MSI Z370 Pro / Nvidia 1080 iChill / 4×4 Samsung DDR4 2666 / 500GB 870 Evo SSD / 1TB HDD
I bought this PC myself in June of last year for €420, it has served me well so far, but since I have put a little money aside and am reaching my limits in some games, it will soon resign, or rather it will little brother gets it installed with another SSD.
