The International Judo Federation (IJF) has issued an official statement announcing that it is suspending Vladimir Putin as honorary president and ambassador of said body.
“In light of the ongoing war conflict in Ukraine, the International Judo Federation announces the suspension of the status of Mr. Vladimir Putin as Honorary President and Ambassador of the International Judo Federation,” states the brief statement, which does not make any other assessment.
