Qantas for direct flights from Sydney to London

Qantas, the Australian national carrier, is preparing direct flights from Sydney to London and New York. Project Sunrise is scheduled to launch in 2025, arriving in London and New York on a solo trip. For this, Qantas has placed an order for new Airbus A-350 aircraft.

The nonstop journey from Sydney to London takes about 20 hours. The first flight from Sydney to London was in 1947. The first flight took 58 hours with seven stoppowers. This is reduced to a single 20-hour journey with no breaks.

Qantas has been working on the project for the past five years. The two-year loss caused by Kovid delayed the project. Qantas launched the 17-hour nonstop flight from Perth to London in 2018.

Direct flight tickets are available in four classes: First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. The service will use aircraft capable of carrying 238 passengers. There will be wellbeing zones in the center of the aircraft. Self-service snack bars operate here. During the journey, people can come in person and enjoy the services here.

Project Sunrise is expected to be one of the fastest growing business and tourism developments in the UK and Australia.
