Qatar has once once more topped the world in terms of mobile internet speed. According to the April 2023 report released by Okla’s Speedtest Global Index, Qatar topped the list with an average download speed of 189.98 Mbps. The UAE is in second place with an average download speed of 175.34 Mbps. Other countries in the top five are Macau (171.73 Mbps), Kuwait (139.03) and Norway (131.16).
India ranks 60th globally with an average mobile internet speed of 36.35 Mbps, our country was ranked 64th in March. At the same time, last year too, Qatar was ranked first in speed.
Meanwhile, Singapore tops the fixed broadband internet speed with an average download speed of 242.01 Mbps. The top five countries are Chile (222.49), UAE (216.78), China (215.80) and Hong Kong (205.19).
