Doha: Qatar welcomes Iran-US nuclear talks The Foreign Ministry said Qatar was ready to provide all the necessary conditions for the talks. Doha has also been chosen as the venue for the talks, as it is a Gulf country with close ties to Iran and the United States. With this, Doha is back in the news in the diplomatic arena following crucial Taliban-US talks.
