On November 20, the five-day Seventh Silk Road International Expo and China’s East-West Cooperation, Investment and Trade Fair concluded in Xi’an. During the meeting, Zhang Junhui, the county magistrate and director of the Caijiapo Economic Development Zone Management Committee, led the Qishan County delegation to actively participate in various activities organized by the province, city and county, conduct extensive exchanges with merchants, actively promote investment projects, and achieve fruitful results.
With the theme of “Economic and Trade Expansion·Interconnection·Mutual Benefit”, this year’s Silk Road Expo will hold more than 20 important conferences and forums in 4 categories. At the same time, it will set up international exchange exhibitions, open platform exhibitions, and regional exhibitions at the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center. The six exhibition areas, including the Cooperation Exhibition, Modern Agriculture Exhibition, Advanced Manufacturing Exhibition, and Modern Service Industry Exhibition, comprehensively display the results of the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” and promote the expansion of international economic and trade.
During the Silk Road Expo, Zhang Junhui, in addition to actively participating in relevant provincial, city and county investment promotion seminars, went to Shaanxi Dingyi Technology Co., Ltd., iFlytek Silk Road Headquarters, and Xi’an Science and Technology Market for docking inspections, and discussed the high-end titanium smart industrial park Construction, regional development positioning and advantages, transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements, R&D and manufacturing of AI intelligent product applications, etc. During the meeting, the Qishan County delegation also actively visited exhibition halls in various provinces and cities, negotiated with participating merchants, distributed investment brochures, and made positive contributions to the promotion and publicity of Qishan.
It is understood that in order to ensure that the investment promotion work of this Silk Road Expo achieves good results, before the meeting, all towns and relevant departments in Qishan County attached great importance to the project, extensively solicited projects, actively negotiated, and coordinated and implemented a large number of good and large projects. The 10 projects signed this time, involving equipment manufacturing, new materials, food industry, trade logistics and other fields, will add new momentum to Qishan’s industrial transformation and upgrading, and push Qishan’s economy and society into the fast lane of catching up and surpassing.
Project signing focuses on implementation. For the signed projects, Qishan County will effectively provide full tracking services for the signed projects, actively provide warm support for the project settlement, promote the rapid landing, construction and production of the projects, and maximize economic and social benefits. At the same time, we will take active actions to contact and connect project leads that are willing to invest or have been initially negotiated one by one, and invite more companies and merchants to come to Qishan for on-site inspections and discuss cooperation, so as to effectively convert the popularity gathered by the Silk Road Expo into investment attraction. The “wealth” further promotes the development trend of open investment and project construction in the county.
