VNT19 Pulp-Paper Factory (VNT19 Pulp-Paper Joint Stock Company) was approved by the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai Province in March 2011, with a designed capacity of 350,000 tons of pulp/year.
This is the largest pulp mill in Vietnam, expected to be put into operation by the end of the fourth quarter of 2024, will consume 1.4 million tons of wood chips per year, equal to about 55-60% of the amount of wood chips being exported through the port.
