Persephone entered the ring defending a 60-day reign that featured four successful defenses. However, outside interference heavily factored into the pacing of the match. Britt Baker loomed ringside and struck Aminata with the championship belt on the floor while the referee checked on a fallen Persephone. Persephone immediately capitalized with a top-rope moonsault, but Aminata kicked out of the pin.
