Queues to fill gasoline arrive in Caracas

Users through social networks have reported, for a few days, long queues outside service stations of Caracas and the interior of the country, in order to refuel gasoline

In images and videos shared on Twitter, citizens indicate that in the eastern and western sectors of the capital, there are queues of more than 40 vehicles. They ensure that they spend more than five hours to get the fuel.

“One returns to Caracas and finds that there is no gasoline nationwide. There are queues for hours and hours at all the pumps”, “It took me 5 hours to queue at Los Palos Grandes to put dollarized gasoline”, reads the network.

The lack of gasoline in Venezuela has intensified this December in a good part of the nation. The Venezuelans again face a related shortageaccording to the economist and oil analyst Pilar Navarro, with a temporary stop in Amuay.

Businessmen from Venezuela demanded, on Tuesday, December 27, a explanation of the cause of the gasoline shortage and that it is affecting the economic activity of at least 10 states.
