The Quirónsalud Group has inaugurated this Wednesday in the capital of Seville a center dedicated to both medical specialty consultations and occupational health surveillance, the latter thanks to Quirónprevención, its health prevention company.
This new space, of more than 1,000 m2, is located at number 58 Avenida de la República Argentina and has a total of 20 consultations –seven for occupational medicine, six for occupational nursing, six medical consultations with specialists from the network of Quirónsalud hospitals in Seville and an infirmary for priests–, according to the hospital center in a press release.
In addition, in a second phase, the Radiology service will also be offered, which from the perspective of occupational health surveillance, “is especially interesting for certain sectors of activity, such as mining.”
The event, which was attended by about 70 people, was chaired by Luis Roda Oliveira, General Director of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health of the Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Junta de Andalucía.
Quirónprevención already has a portfolio of more than 4,000 client companies in Seville and performs more than 80,000 medical examinations a year in the province. With this new opening, Quirónprevención expands its care network in Seville (where it already has seven centers and 23 basic health units) and its commitment to offer the best service and experience to the workers of its client companies. In this sense, as Gabriel Pérez, Commercial and Network Director of Quirónprevención, has pointed out, “we continue to bet on proximity, on continuing to be the prevention service aware of the needs and casuistry of each place, its companies and its culture”.
For its part, the center will have consultations for General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Dermatology, Teledermatology, Neurology, Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Psychology, Allergology, General and Digestive Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Urology , Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Pain Unit, Angiology and Vascular Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Hematology and Nursing, which may be expanded to other specialties in a second phase.
With this, the Quirónsalud hospitals in Seville –Quirónsalud Sagrado Corazón, Infanta Luisa and Materno-Infantil– are increasing their network of peripheral medical centers in their commitment to continue bringing their medical care closer to the key points of the city and its periphery, without the patient has to make unnecessary trips.
Thus, the network is made up of a total of eight centers, located in Alameda de Hércules, Manuel Siurot, Marqués de Nervión, Virgen de Luján, Mairena del Aljarafe, Tomares, Seville East and the new consultations in the Argentine Republic. Likewise, the hospital centers also have the Ave María Day Hospital and the outpatient centers located on Espartinas and Condes de Bustillo streets.
