The legislators of the UCR Río Negro bloc, Lorena Matzen and Ariel Bernatene, presented today a communication project in the Legislature of Río Negro that aims to inform national Senators and Deputies about the scope that the so-called Omnibus Law could have in the province.
The provincial deputies were concerned about the negative impact of this norm on sensitive issues such as “the privatization of public companies, the protection of local production, energy and hydrocarbons, and the development of tourism, sports and culture«.
EThis initiative presented in the Ronegrina legislature formally expresses the rejection of the articles incorporated into the so-called Omnibus Bill, in the terms in which they have been drafted.
They also request that, within the framework of the discussion in the National Congress, professionals and politicians from Río Negro are summonedas well as members of the private business sectors linked to each topic.
«They are finding it difficult to sustain the first economic measures and They are not talking to anyone: “They do not speak with the countryside, they do not speak with the industrialists, they do not speak with the deputies and senators who have to approve it,” said legislator Matzen, who requested extensive treatment of each of the items.
I consider that “It is vital that the people of Rio Negro contribute their knowledge and position in this debate national. “They have collapsed purchasing power in a scandalous way and, apparently, they intend to continue doing so.”
For his part, Ariel Bernatene stated that “at this stage we radicals have to be the opposition.”“In that role we must exercise a constructive critical opposition that provides certainties in this time of so much uncertainty.”
He added that “we consider that from Río Negro we want to communicate our differences with respect to the DNU and the Omnibus Law that is being discussed at the national level and that directly involves our beloved province.”
