Rahul Gandhi And Priyanka gandhi arrives at ED office National

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has visited the Enforcement Directorate office for questioning in the National Herald money laundering case. Heavy security has been put in place near the ED office. The interrogation continues for the third day in a row. Priyanka Gandhi has accompanied Rahul to the Enforcement Directorate office. Congress leaders have been staging sit-ins to protest the dragging of leaders, including JB Mehta, into a vehicle.

The leaders, including JB Mehta, were dragged down the road and taken into a police vehicle. Women Congress activists staged a protest at the AICC headquarters. JB Mather MP said that the police had caused problems during the march which was very peaceful.

MPs Kodikunnil Suresh and JB Mehta, AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, leaders Manikam Tagore, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, Gaurav Gagoi, Deepender Singh Hooda and Randeep Singh Surjewala were taken into custody by the Delhi Police. According to ED sources, Rahul did not give a definite answer on the financial dealings of the Young India Company during the two rounds of questioning.
