Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has strengthened its flight schedule for the 2022 summer season, offering 6 million seats on 80 air routes across four continents. It thus expresses its commitment within the framework of the Marhaba 2022 operation, indicated, Tuesday, the general manager of the national company, Abdelhamid Addou. He stressed, before the House of Councilors, that this program makes it possible to find nearly 90% of the network covered in 2019, in particular by opening new lines.
On this occasion, he specified that the company will ensure, during the summer, more than 2.2 million seats on the European continent. No less than 437 frequencies per week will connect 9 Moroccan airports to 32 European airports.
In France, 890,000 seats will be offered with 400 flights per week on 28 air routes connecting 9 airports in France to 8 cities in the Kingdom, added Mr. Addou, adding that the lines connecting 8 Moroccan airports to Paris will offer 121 frequencies. per week.
Concerning the rest of Europe, 43 air routes will connect 22 European airports to 8 Moroccan cities for a capacity of more than 1.3 million seats with 237 frequencies per week.
According to RAM, air routes, where large communities of Moroccans reside, will be strengthened. The lines connecting Casablanca to Barcelona, Bologna, Malaga, Madrid, Brussels, and Milan will thus switch to a double daily flight.
In North America, the national company will mobilize nearly 500,000 seats, i.e. 6% more than in summer 2019. Thus, some 35 weekly frequencies will be set up between Casablanca and New York, Washington, Montreal and Miami.
In Africa, RAM has strengthened its network, which will increase to 25 airlines and offer 900,000 seats on 110 frequencies per week.
In the Middle East, RAM will offer 200,000 seats, an increase of 25% compared to the summer 2019 offer. Thus, 17 frequencies will be scheduled on the six routes linking Casablanca to Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina, Le Cairo, Tel Aviv and Dubai.
To support families residing abroad, a product at a suitable price will be offered, allowing a reduction of 20% of the overall price with free reservation of seats close together and the registration of luggage according to the overall weight of the family members.
