Dubai, 6 October / WAM / Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department during the current week amounted to more than 9.5 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the recording of 1,445 sales transactions worth 4.93 billion dirhams, including 248 sales sales of lands worth 1.75 billion dirhams and 1,197 sales sales of apartments and villas worth 3.18 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales were worth 100.44 million dirhams in the Jumeirah Second area, followed by a sale worth 100 million dirhams in the Al Habiyah Fourth area, followed by a sale worth 70.33 million dirhams in the Al Habiyah Fourth area.
Al-Habiyah 5 region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, recording 78 sales worth 319.83 million dirhams, followed by Hind City 4, recording 60 sales worth 98.25 million dirhams, and a third in Airport City, recording 18 sales worth 130.27 million dirhams.
Regarding the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale worth 220 million dirhams came in the Palm Jumeirah area as the most important sale, followed by a sale worth 200 million dirhams in the first Zabeel area, and finally a sale worth 95 million dirhams in the Al Thanyah Fourth area.
The Al Barsha South Fourth area topped the regions in terms of the number of apartment and villa sales, recording 139 sales worth 181.51 million dirhams, followed by the Business Bay area, recording 99 sales worth 157.18 million dirhams, and third in Burj Khalifa, recording 83 sales worth 316.03 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 4.2 billion dirhams, including 62 land mortgages worth 798.55 million dirhams and 407 mortgages on villas and apartments worth 3.4 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Al Wasl region with a value of 2.4 billion dirhams and another in the Al Ruwayyah Al First area with a value of 283.8 million dirhams.
As for donations, 110 donations were recorded, worth 392.01 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Al Jaddaf area, worth 98.95 million dirhams, and another in the Karama area, worth 45 million dirhams.
