Riots in Brazil. Supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro attacked Parliament and the Supreme Court. Thousands of far-right supporters took to the streets and attacked President Lula da Silva’s palace. The army was deployed to deal with the riots. President Lua da Silva responded by calling it a fascist attack. Lua took over as the new president on January 1. Jair Bolsonaro refused to accept defeat and left the country
