In consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), the Colruyt chain of stores is recalling frozen chicken legs of the Everyday brand on Tuesday after the discovery of Salmonella Enteritidis.
The product was sold in 2 kg packs in Colruyt and Collect&Go stores between March 29 and July 25, 2023. It bears the article number 13650 and the dates of minimum durability of September 19, 21 and 30, 2024. Customers who have purchased this product are asked not to consume it and to return it to the store, where they will receive a refund. In the meantime, all stores have removed the affected products from the shelves.
