The local Department of Environment and Ecology, in coordination with the State Training Institute (IECA), carried out the closure of the herbal workshop.
Where 25 people were certified in herbal medicine, after the workshop that lasted 24 hours divided into 8 sessions, in order to increase actions for the correct dissemination of the healing and medicinal properties of plants.
The director of Environment and Ecology, Alma Ariadna Martínez, mentioned that the people who completed the workshop have a great responsibility to take care of the environment to other people.
“The environment is everything that surrounds us and we have to teach what we learned during the workshop, congratulations on your appointment and your responsibility, may it be the beginning of a great career with care for the environment,” said Alma Ariadna.
During the herbal workshop, the participants learned how to make clay masks, cough syrup, ointment for the respiratory system, water and oil plasters, as well as the healing properties of plants, seeds, roots, trunks, and flowers.
