In the Russian Premier League (RPL), they repeated the 2005 record for appointed penalties in one round.
In the match of the 24th round “Paris NN” – “Wings of the Soviets”, which takes place in Nizhny Novgorod, Timur Suleymanov, the host’s player, scored from the penalty spot in the 36th minute.
This penalty was the ninth in the 24th round. The same number of penalties were awarded in the 21st round of the RPL in 2005.
