Record-breaking Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 benchmarks exposed-ePrice.HK

Last week Qualcomm announced two processors, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The latter is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the manufacturer claims a 10% increase in performance. Yesterday, the benchmarking program AnTuTu was uploaded on Weibo, and the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 benchmark was found in the background.

Better than the official announcement

According to AnTuTu, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which uses TSMC’s 4nm process technology, performs better than the official announcement in all aspects. However, even they don’t know what the tested device is, because both the brand and model are different. Replacing it in digital form is obviously a camouflage deliberately added by the manufacturer. The only certainty is that the device uses a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, with 18GB RAM and 512GB storage, and the screen refresh rate also reaches the level of 120Hz.

Score close to 1.12 million points

In terms of running scores, the overall score of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is 1,118,161, of which the CPU and GPU scores are 266,524 and 468,846 respectively, while the MEM and UX scores are 194,987 and 187,804. Judging from this first-ever running score, the CPU and GPU scores have both improved by 20,000 to 30,000 points, while the MEM and UX scores are comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
