Record year for Attijariwafa bank

The banking group reports in its financial communication for 2021 (details here) the production of 8.1 billion dirhams of real estate loans for buyers, for the year 2021, i.e. “a high” for the group with an increase of +15% compared to 2020 and +8% compared to 2019.

The group, which has almost regained its pre-crisis profit levels (Consolidated net income and net income group share amounted respectively to 6.2 billion dirhams and 5.1 billion dirhams, up by +66, 2% and +70.5% without however reaching their pre-crisis levels of 7.0 and 5.8 billion dirhams in 2019), also announced the financing of 12,000 young people and project leaders for an amount of 2, 7 billion dirhams, under the “Intilaka” initiative, which corresponds to 41% of the total loans granted by the banking sector.

Attijariwafa bank distributed 21.5 billion dirhams of “Damane” loans for the benefit of 51,605 companies, i.e. a market share of 37%1 while 9.0 billion dirhams of financing were granted within the framework of the “Damane” initiatives. Damane Express” “Damane Attasyir” and “Damane Istitmar”, i.e. a market share of 72%.
