Red Bull Racing reported the way in which he will divide the preseason tests with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez during Thursday, Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February. While the teams have different options to give their drivers as much track time as possible, the Milton Keynes house has opted to give each of them a day and a half.

Checo Perez he will take the controls on Friday morning for only half a day, but he will have the full day on Saturday to ride with the RB19 and will be in charge of concluding the tests.

These will be the only testing opportunities before the 2023 season kicks off at the same circuit a week later on March 5. The calendar consists of 23 dates after the fall of China due to the COVID epidemic.

During the launch of the RB19 in New York, the team only showed a sample car in official livery, while this year’s car was still in development in England. It wasn’t until a few days later that both Pérez and Verstappen drove the car for the first time at a filming session in Silverstone, England.
