Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G launched in Indonesia with Qualcomm chipset, 108 MP camera and more

Xiaomi launched this week in Indonesia the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G as the company’s new intermediate smartphone with balanced specifications and a focus on cost-effectiveness. Interestingly, this newly arrived model is nothing more than the renamed Redmi Note 10 Pro and with almost no changes.

As shown in a promotional poster released by insider Mukul Sharma, the handset adopts a familiar look with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen supporting 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD Plus image resolution, in addition to Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a hole in the top for the 16 megapixel camera.

The rear, in turn, houses the quadruple set of sensors with 108 MP (main) + ultrawide (8 MP) + depth (2 MP) and, finally, 2 MP (macro) with an LED flash. The cover has a sober look and no highlights, including only the ‘Redmi’ inscription discreetly at the bottom of the device.

Moving on to the internal hardware, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset — octa-core up to 2.3 GHz with 8 nm lithography — with the Adreno 618 GPU and 6 GB of RAM memory. To ensure good autonomy there is a battery with 5,000 mAh capacity and 67W fast charging.

Connectivity brings just the standard for a cell phone in this category: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm P2 jack for headphones with wire. The operating system running on the device is Android 12 under the modified MIUI 13 interface.
