Thuramugam was a movie written by Gopan Chitambaram and directed by Rajeev Ravi. Nivin Pauly, Purnima Indrajith, Nimisha Sajayan and Darshana Rajendran played the main characters in the movie. Purnima’s comeback is also the film that released after Virus. Purnima’s character in the movie also got a lot of attention.
Poornima says that her children had never seen any of her films and that’s why they were very excited when they came to the shooting sets of Virus. Purnima was speaking in an interview given to Red FM.
“None of my children have seen my films yet. I have seen all the songs on YouTube. I have not seen any full movie. When you say you haven’t seen anything, you have tried to show it. Children want to look fresh when they see it on the screen. I think this is how children think. When you show them the movie, they say, oh, it’s an old movie. Then he would look at me and ask how old are you mom? Then I would say that you should watch all of Amma’s movies. They were very excited when they saw the virus. They came to the location during the shooting. Regarding her, I have not heard or seen that her mother was acting till that time,’ said Purnima Indrajith.
Purnima said in an interview that the decision was to do other films after the release of Port, but we had to wait four years for Port to come out. The actor also said that although there were several scripts, he did not have the confidence to do them.
‘We have had to wait for four years for the port. Be it the people working behind the scenes of that movie, be it the stars or the producer, it has been a long time since everyone started walking with this movie in mind. The relief is that it has finally been released. To be honest, it was my personal big wish to get off the port. Because I was thinking that I can do the next film after leaving the port. Meanwhile, I listened to the scripts. Something I wanted to do. But there was no confidence. I was thinking that I can do the rest of the films after Port,’ said Purnima Indrajith.
