The Ajman Transport Authority launched the service of registering sick leave for its employees through an electronic link with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, as part of the authority’s plans that aim to provide a positive work environment that enhances employee happiness.
Abdul Rahman Saif Al Nuaimi, Director of the Corporate Support Department, said that this step is one of the authority’s plans to achieve sustainability in the work environment by reducing paper consumption, as it does not require printing the sick certificate to be authenticated, in addition to facilitating and accelerating human resources procedures and raising the efficiency of its services.
He pointed out that the Authority is constantly searching for innovative solutions to provide a comfortable work environment for its employees and facilitate procedures, whether within the Authority or external procedures that contribute to employee comfort by saving time and effort.
