The actual racing window opens shortly after, beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, and closing at 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2026.
The event requires runners to complete a total distance of 21.0975 kilometers, which can be accomplished either in a single running activity or broken up across multiple segments. Participants must download the specified tracking application and sync it to the event in advance to record their progress and monitor their standing on the global leaderboard.
Costs and Membership Privileges
The financial barrier to entry depends entirely on the runner’s membership status with the organization. ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Members enjoy free participation across all ten events in the 2026/2027 virtual series. However, annual member registration for the current cycle is already closed.
Guest runners can still participate by paying an entry fee of 1,500 yen, which includes consumption tax. The platform accepts credit card payments exclusively for guest entries. Total membership across all categories reached 685,451 members as of March 1, 2026.

Prizes and Qualification Pathways
Completing the virtual half marathon unlocks two distinct pathways toward securing a slot in an upcoming main marathon event. A total of 30 runners who finish the event will be selected through a random drawing to receive a guaranteed, non-complimentary entry ticket for the RUN as ONE – Tokyo Marathon 2028.
Dedicated members who manage to finish all ten events in the series unlock a separate pool of rewards. Fifty ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Members who complete all ten events will be entered into an exclusive random drawing for a Tokyo Marathon 2028 entry ticket.
The Road Ahead for Global Competitors
Following the conclusion of November’s race, the organization has outlined dates for the remaining competitions in the current calendar.
The 8th challenge is scheduled from December 12 to December 20, 2026. The series then moves into the new year with the 9th challenge running from January 16, 2027 to January 24, 2027, culminating in the final event scheduled between March 20 and March 28, 2027.
