At the age of 99, Mrs. Emma Izquierdo de Moreno, who was a great leader of the 70s in the city of Yopal, passed away.
Mrs. Emma actively participated in community issues and was recognized for her natural leadership and people skills. She was also a defender of the arts, music and programs that offered well-being to people.
She held several public positions, was president of the Municipal Council, and Secretary of Education and Government of the Municipality of Casanare, active militant of the Colombian Liberal party and teacher, among others.
His children confirmed that his body will be transferred this Thursday to the city of Villavicencio where it will be cremated, as was his wish. Therefore, no religious services or gatherings will be held on these days. Subsequently, the family points out, on Friday they will announce what type of ceremony and the place where it will be held.
