At least since the emergence of popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney and Microsoft’s Bing chatbot, the discussion regarding regulating artificial intelligence has reached the public. The European Union, among others, is working on a corresponding set of rules with the AI Act. The aim of this is to minimize the risks of such systems, biometric surveillance systems are even to be banned entirely.
