‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’ won’t be released in 2023

And one more delay! Nothing is going well on the side of Rocksteady Studios. The creators of the Arkham Knight series were set to make their grand return to the DC Comics universe with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueinitially expected for 2022.

But the game has experienced several delays. A time announced for May 26, 2023, then for the end of the year 2023, here is that the release date is once once more postponed, this time in 2024. If all goes well (for the most optimistic), the game should now out February 2, 2024.

According to Bloomberg, Rocksteady is delaying the game for another nine months in order to “work on the best possible quality for the players”. Which may be good news in itself. But according to journalist Jason Schreier, these nine months will be used to improve the game, not to change its structure.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League should therefore offer gameplay similar to what we saw last February, during a State of Play organized by Sony. Remember that following this broadcast, players were worried regarding the result and the “game service + Battle Pass” format chosen by Rocksteady (not to mention that the game will require an internet connection even in solo mode, and that the local co-op mode does not will not be supported.)
