France is automatically qualified for the Eurovision final, along with the other main financial contributors to the competition: Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. However, and this is one of the new features of this 2024 edition, these artists who are guaranteed to be in the final are invited to perform in the semi-final, to benefit from the same visibility as the other candidates in the running.
