Rem Pitlick soon to be free as air?

Montreal Canadiens forward Rem Pitlick is currently a restricted free agent…but he could well fall into the “unrestricted” category next week.

“If he’s not able to come to terms with the Canadiens by Monday, my impression is that he’ll just be dropped by the organization and won’t get an offer. qualifier.”

That said, it’s still possible that the two clans could get along by then, which would obviously be good news for everyone.

Last season, Pitlick had 26 points, including nine goals, in 46 games with the Habs. He was taken off waivers by the Minnesota Wild, with whom he had 11 points, including six goals, in 20 games.
