He participated in the amateur program “Super Star” in its first season, which was shown in 2003, although he was blind, as he lost his sight at the age of 14 due to a medical error.

He is the late Palestinian artist, Muhammad Lafi, who was distinguished by his beautiful voice in the program, and won the admiration of the jury members and a large number of viewers.

During his artistic career, Lafi released three special songs, “Good Morning, My Country”, “Tanbke Sawa”, and “I Want to Congratulate the World on Your Eid”, which he dedicated to the artist Fadl Shaker.

Lafi, who was residing in Kuwait, was infected with the Corona virus in August 2021, and was admitted to Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital in the Kuwaiti capital, but his health condition worsened following a few weeks, and he died on September 3, following suffering a stroke.
