Edgardo Mendoza was 54 years old and was originally from the Guacamaya village of El Progreso, Yoro.

“Unfortunately my father, Edgardo Mendoza, lost his life in an accident with his work truck. This is something that we did not expect and we are devastated by the loss of him,” his daughter Pamela reported of him.
“CD Vida hereby communicates to players, friends and other people who knew our friend, teammate and who share other facets in the life of Edgardo Mendoza,” announced his team in the Durham Veterans League.
“See you soon paisa, my second dad is gone,” Nahúm Aguilar said goodbye.
Edgardo or “Débora”, as he was called from a young age in his beloved Guacamaya, in Honduras was a recognized leader of the bureaucratic leagues.
