However, when the ‘final vote’ was conducted, it was difficult to predict the results, and the running of former lawmakers Na Gyeong-won and Yoo Seung-min remains a major variable.

“From the current trend, the upward trend is very steep.
The upward trend was also confirmed in opinion polls.
When people’s strength supporters were asked who was the best next party representative, 22.8% of Rep. Kim, 20.3% of Rep. Ahn Chul-soo, 15.5% of former Rep. Na Gyeong-won, and 8.3% of former Rep. Seung-min Yoo.
In the survey at the end of December, 12.8% of lawmakers Kim Ki-hyun and 21.4% of former lawmakers Na Gyeong-won, but when the conflict between the President’s office and former lawmakers arose, Congressman Kim went up with the so-called ‘Shim Yoon’ on his back.
However, the final vote system introduced for the first time by changing the party constitution emerged as a big variable.
It was evaluated as a safety device introduced to prevent the dispersion of votes for the ‘pro-Yun candidate’, but when only two candidates Kim Ki-hyun and Ahn Cheol-soo faced each other, it was counted as receiving 37.6% and 43.8% support, respectively.

“In the final vote, I can say for sure that I’m confident that I’ll win whoever my opponent is. That’s what I hope for.”
Former Congressman Na Gyeong-won, who apologized for mentioning the “presidential intention” one day before President Yoon Seok-yeol’s return, is contemplating whether to run for the last time without an open schedule.

“The power of the people who have defended liberal democracy is loved by more people… Well, I will think about this part more and say it again.”
Former Congressman Yoo Seung-min also delivered a short Lunar New Year greeting through social media without mentioning running.
Now, from the 2nd of next month, the registration of candidates for the People’s Power Convention will begin.
Candidates struggling at the last minute are expected to express their final position as soon as the Lunar New Year holidays are over.
