The two concerts of Mylène Farmer at the Stade de France canceled at the end of June due to the urban violence which followed the death of the young Nahel have been rescheduled in September 2024, and a third date has been added, according to a press release published on Sunday.

The two shows of the “Nevermore” tour already planned must now take place on September 27 and 28, 2024 in Saint-Denis. A third concert has been announced for October 1, 2024, with its box office opening on July 18 at 10 a.m.

“The hosting of the Rugby World Cup France 2023, then the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024, with the preparatory work induced by these events, left no possibility of programming before these dates”, explains the press release.

Mylène Farmer planned to return to the Stade de France on Friday June 30 after years of absence, but the authorities had chosen to cancel the two planned dates to allow law enforcement to deploy elsewhere to cope to the riots that hit France after the death of Nahel, killed by a policeman during a traffic check.

Sometimes referred to as the “French Madonna”, Mylène Farmer, 61, is a singer admired by millions of fans and a true icon within the gay community. With more than 35 million records sold, this figure of pop culture is known for his clips and his grandiose shows, across Europe and as far as Russia.
