Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 make the leap to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a free upgrade patch on PC

The horror series has left great news for its fans at the Capcom Showcase held today.

We talked before about the possibility of seeing Resident Evil 8: Village expansion in the Capcom Showcase and so it has been, we have had it and loaded with content; but also, in the last days, it was rumored and a lot about a possible launch of three of the most recent installments of the saga on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. The news has been confirmed and players can already enjoy these video games on their consoles.

Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 y Resident Evil 7 biohazard are revived today on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S with 4K resolution, ray tracing, high frame rate and 3D audio. These cutting edge features deliver a more vivid, smooth and immersive experience. On PlayStation 5, DualSense also offers haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support,” Capcom announced in a statement.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can upgrade at no additional cost through the digital upgrade program and Smart Delivery, respectively. And the PC ones? Will they be able to enjoy these improvements? Indeed, Capcom points out that a patch is also available today to enjoy an improved experience of three proposals acclaimed by the public and the specialized press.
