It’s been a month since the free farmers in Austria called for a “journey to Vienna”. The farmers’ protests in Germany were the model. “Farmers are not servants” was the motto of the campaign. Among other things, she opposed the Green Deal, which endangers domestic products, the mineral oil tax on diesel for agricultural operations and genetic engineering. However, compared to the protests in other EU countries, the action was rather modest: just eleven tractors and around a hundred participants came to the protest on Ballhausplatz.
